Description

Something that was rotting on my pc.
I used to be in some sort of a Game project but got kicked out of the team. I was supposed to do monster designing stuff so this was kind of a concept art whatervery thing.
So I'm not with the crew anymore and was able to take my stuff with me. So after there is no need anymore to keep this a secret. Here it is.

I know legs are missing. I didn't draw them in the front, because it would have messed up too much. On the otherhand this is just a small part of the concept I was planing, like different view and angles and so on. Legs supposed to come out where that oddly colored squarey thing in the middle is. that green brownish. next to the fangy thing.

Ooooh. SO SO COOL. I love spiders ( they are really cute).

All the arthropods work (IMHO) enormously well in tech-creepy  things made of metal and gears, they are pretty much naturally like machines with their jointed legs and alien (from hominid perspective) looks and physique.

This however, combines metal with soft materials, leather accordion, rubbery nozels, chemistry vials and tubes. And it makes it somehow even more icky and creepy.

Those legs are really nice (=scary!). Were you thinking of Coraline's "Other Mother" by any chance? Whether you did or not, I cannot help imagining that this spidey would move in the similar way she did in the spider form.
